Biography

Keri Hurley, PharmD, MPH, BCACP, APh, is Health Sciences Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy Practice at the University of California, Irvine School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Public Health degrees concurrently from Touro University-California and completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Outpatient Pharmacy Practice Residency at Western University of Health Sciences. Her clinical and research work centers on ambulatory care pharmacy, immunization delivery, vaccination equity, and travel health services.

Hurley has built a sustained research program leveraging the NIH All of Us Research Program database to examine real-world patterns in vaccination disparities and medication-related outcomes, including metformin-associated vitamin B12 deficiency. She has served as a primary investigator on multiple funded research projects and contributes to community-facing public health work through her longstanding involvement with the Immunization Coalition of Los Angeles County, where she currently serves as Board President and led the effort to establish the organization as an independent 501(c)3. She is a recognized trainer in pharmacy-based immunization delivery and travel health through the American Pharmacists Association and serves as Past Chair of the Pharmacy Practice Group of the International Society of Travel Medicine.

Hurley received the Natalie J. Smith MD, MPH Immunization Champion Award from the California Immunization Coalition in 2025 and holds the designation of Fellow of the California Pharmacists Association. She is a member of the Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society and the Phi Lambda Sigma Pharmacy Leadership Society.
