Biography

Naudereh Noori, MD, is an Associate Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery in the Division of Foot and Ankle Surgery at the University of California, Irvine. She also serves as Associate Program Director of the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program. Dr. Noori earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and graduated cum laude from the University of California, San Diego, with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. She was also elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She completed her orthopaedic surgery residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident, followed by advanced fellowship training in Orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Noori’s clinical and research interests include total ankle replacement, minimally invasive surgical techniques, Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, and patient-centered functional outcomes. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and her work has been presented at leading national meetings, including those of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society, the Western Orthopaedic Association, and the Orthopaedic Trauma Association. She is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

In addition to her role as an attending orthopaedic surgeon at UC Irvine Health, Dr. Noori serves on the faculty of the Sports Medicine Fellowship within the Department of Family Medicine. She is also a member of the UC Women in Ortho Annual Leadership Summit Planning Committee and is actively involved in medical student education and mentorship. She serves as a faculty member and medical student mentor for the Association of Women Surgeons and is a co-founder of the UC Irvine chapter of the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society. Dr. Noori is fluent in Spanish, Farsi, and Kurdish, allowing her to communicate directly with patients from a wide range of backgrounds.
