Narges Pazouki

Biography

Narges Pazouki, M.D., is Associate Clinical Professor of Neurology in the Department of Neurology at the University of California, Irvine. She received her M.D. from Tehran University School of Medicine and completed her neurology residency at North Shore University Hospital, NYU School of Medicine. She also received electrophysiology training at UC Davis Medical Center.

Pazouki has over two decades of clinical experience in neurology, including serving as CEO and Medical Director of Turlock Neurology Associates from 2004 to 2019, where she built and led a private neurology practice in California's Central Valley. She has held consulting positions with multiple healthcare organizations and has maintained an active clinical practice throughout her career. Her clinical expertise spans comprehensive neurology and interventional procedures including Botox and pain management injections.

As a founding faculty member at Touro University from 2009 to 2015, Pazouki contributed to establishing the neurology curriculum for a new medical school. She has also served as neurology faculty for the Family Medicine Residency Program at Merced Faculty Associate, Mercy Medical Center through UC Davis School of Medicine. In her current role at UC Irvine, she teaches medical students and residents in the Comprehensive Neurology Clinic, emphasizing evidence-based medicine, clinical reasoning, and diagnostic accuracy in neurological evaluation and management.
